Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Declaration, that GO's 102, 47 dated 08.11.2011, 28.03.2012 respectively issued by first respondent read with the order of the fifth respondent dated 17.07.2012 is illegal, arbitary, contrary to the provisions of the Trade Unions Act, 1926 herein after called "1926 Act", The Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982, hereinafter called "1982 Act", and also violative of Article 14, 21 and the Directive Principles of State Policy of the Constitution of India, social justice, procedural irregularity and consequently direct the respondents to conform with the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982. This writ petition challenges the G.Os.102 & 47, dated 08.11.2011 and 28.03.2012, respectively, insisting for production of bank accounts and community certificate for the workers to avail the 2/4
benefits under the welfare schemes from the Board. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the AGP appearing for the respondents submitted that now the on-line system has been introduced for the workers to avail the benefits under the welfare schemes. Therefore, the present prayer to the writ petition has become infructuous.
