Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to comply with the order passed by the first respondent i.e., The Inspector of Labour dated 22.02.2010 in the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.E/1269/09 under the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishments Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to comply with the order passed by the first respondent i.e., The Inspector of Labour dated 2/4

22.02.2010 in the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.E/1269/09 under the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishments Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act.

2. In view of the order dated 10.08.2023 passed in W.P. Nos. 33553, 33554 of 2013 and 2719 to 2723 of 2014, this Writ Petition is dismissed. The workmen are at liberty to raise a dispute either under Section 2(k) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 or under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition), 1970 before the Industrial Tribunal in the manner known to law, if so advised. There shall be no order as to costs.
