ORDER

This Court, by order dated 03.01.2020 disposed of the writ petition in W.P.No.10320 of 2017 as follows:

"9. In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation 1/3

dated 29.08.2016 on merits, take note of all the facts, ascertain as to whether any appeal has been filed against the judgment and decree dated 16.04.2012 in A.S.No.135 of 2005 on the file of the Sub-Court, Namakkal and pass orders in accordance with law. In order to facilitate the third respondent to promptly comply with this direction, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation along with a copy of this order and a copy of the earlier representation, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the third respondent is directed to comply with the above direction with a period of twelve weeks therefrom. No costs. Consequently, the connected WMP is closed."

Since, the said direction is not complied with, the petitioner has come up with this contempt petition.

2. When the contempt petition was taken up, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court, the respondent rejected the petitioner's representation on 12.03.2022. Hence, the learned counsel prays to close this petition.

3. Recording the submissions so made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this contempt petition stands closed.
