O R D E R
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to conduct further investigation and include all the offence committed by the accused in Crime No.16 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an accused and he belongs Scheduled Tribe community. He got married with one Baby and they are having three sons viz., Pugalendhi, Rajamanickam and Devaraj. The petitioner's second son viz., Devaraj, who aged about 27 years, was doing labour work at Tirupur. He had illicit intimcay with one Govindammal, who was working in the same company and they were living as husband and wife.

He would further submit that while so, on 15.01.2022, three persons viz., Mani, Madesh and Arul, who are the brothers of the said Govindammal came to the petitioner's house and quarreled with the petitioner's son and assaulted him. After sometime, the petitioner's son was found hanging in a nearby Jackfruit tree. On the complaint given by the petitioner, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent had registered a case in Crime No.16 of 2022 under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. Despite the specific information given by the petitioner with regard to the harassment and abetment made by the said Mani, Madesh and Arul, the respondent had not altered the First Information Report. Thereby, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the aforesaid relief.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation reveals that the petitioner's son Devaraj had illicit intimacy with one Govindammal, who is a married woman. During the relevant period of time, the said Govindammal had handed over several jewels to the petitioner's son. When it came to the knowledge of the family members of the said Govindammal, they had approached the petitioner's son and asked for return of jewels. Unable to return the jewels, the petitioner's son had committed suicide. He would further submit that based on the complaint given, the case was registered under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. and the post Mortem report reveals that it is the case of suicide by hanging. He would further submit that investigation is still going on and if in the course of investigation, if the allegation are found to be true, the case will be accordingly altered.
5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
