This Original Petition has been filed under Section 372 of Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking succession certificate with respect to the amounts lying to the credit of PPF account with State Bank Of India, Purasawalkam Branch, Chennai in the name of the deceased R.Ramakrishnan, the father of the petitioners who died intestate on 05.10.2019. His parents had pre-deceased him. The mother of the petitioners had died on 20.02.2021. After publication had been effected, the petitioners were directed to tender evidence. The second petitioner R.Sriram examined himself as P.W.1. The death certificate of his father and that of his mother were marked as Exs.P3 and P5. The legal heirship certificates of his mother and father marked as Exs.P4 & P6. The statement relating to the PPF account was marked as Ex.P7.

2. In view of the evidence adduced above, this Original Petition stands allowed, succession certificate to be granted in the name of both the petitioners.
