O R D E R

This civil revision petition has been filed seeking direction of this Court to the learned VII Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, for speedy disposal of the O.P.No.1654 of 2009.

The petitioner herein is husband and respondent is wife. The petitioner/husband filed a petition in O.P.No.1654 of 2009 on the file of the VII Additional Family Court, Chennai, seeking dissolution of marriage on the ground of desertion. The above case has been adjourned for several hearings without any valid reasons. Hence the petitioner seeks speedy disposal of the above petition.

Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner herein and also the fact that the O.P. which is summary in nature, is pending from the year 2009, this Court is inclined to direct the Family Court to dispose of the same at the earliest. Accordingly, the learned VII Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, is directed to dispose of the O.P.No.1654 of 2009 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that no extention of time will be entertained, if any application is made for extention of time, the same will be viewd seriously.

With the above directions, the civil revision petition is dispossed of. No costs.
