ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to dispose of the appeal presented by the petitioner on 11.09.2024, within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.A.Arun Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

3.The petitioner submitted an application seeking for patta before the 2 nd respondent and the same was rejected by the 2 nd respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the 1 st respondent on 11.09.2024.

Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3/5 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the private respondents and necessary orders shall be passed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
