ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition in para No.6 imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.1372 of 2026, dated 02.02.2026, directing that the petitioner shall appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kancheepuram, instead of the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Sholinganallur, for the purpose of executing the bond and complying with the bail conditions.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been informed by the respondent police that the jurisdiction in respect of Crime No.48 of 2025 now falls within Judicial Magistrate-I, Kanchipuram District. In view of the above development, and for administrative convenience and proper jurisdictional compliance, it is just and necessary that the petitioner be permitted to appear and execute bond before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kanchipuram, instead of learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Sholinganallur.

Considering the submissions of both sides, this Court is inclined to modify the condition in para No.6 imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.1372 of 2026, dated 02.02.2026 to the effect that "the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance, within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date on which the order copy made ready, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kanchipuram, on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned".
