Advance Order in Crl.R.C.No.1230 of 2019 SATHI KUMAR SUKUMARA KURUP, J., The judgment of conviction and sentence imposed on the Petitioners/Accused in C.A No.35 of 2019 on the file of the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chidambaram dated 26.07.2019 is modified. The period of imprisonment already undergone by each of the Accused is treated as sentence of imprisonment undergone to meet the ends of justice.

2. In view of the above, the Criminal Revision Case is partly allowed.

3. The Jail Authority is directed to release the Petitioners/Accused forthwith, unless they are required in connection with any other case. The bail bond, if any executed by the Accused, shall stand cancelled. The fine amounts, if any paid by the Petitioners/Accused, shall be refunded to them.
