ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to disburse the 6% interest for belated payment of Provident Fund, Gratuity and Earned Leave Salary. The petitioner also seeks that the leave encashment and last seven days salary amount also be to paid.

2.Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 3.The respondents may examine the service register of the petitioner and examine whether the Provident Fund, Gratuity and Earned Leave Salary had been paid with delay and if it is paid with delay, pay 6% interest per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement. The respondents may also examine whether the leave encashment and last seven days salary had been paid and if not paid, pay the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order together with interest at 6% interest per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
