JUDGMENT

The Criminal Appeal has been filed seeking to set aside the Judgement in C.C.No.7 of 2014 dated 31.07.2018 passed by the learned XII Additional Special Judge for CBI Cases, Chennai and acquit the appellant from the charges.

2. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, it was reported by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant namely Vijay Khanna/A3 died on 19.05.2021 itself and the copy of his death certificate was also produced.

3. So far no legal representatives of the appellant have filed any petition to proceed with the appeal. In view of the above, the charge against the appellant becomes abated. Accordingly, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
