Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records of the impugned order issued by the third respondent, vide Proceedings in Na.Ka.No.4076/2012/F2 dated 5/2/2020 quash the same and subsequently, extend 60 days for payment of balance amount of Rs.24,25,000/- (Twenty four lakhs and twenty five thousand only) in connection with public auction which was held on 5/11/2019 conducted by the second respondent being the impugned order has been received by the petitioner on 24/2/2020 that is after 19 days.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order, dated 5/2/2020, passed by the third respondent, rejecting the petitioner's request for extension of time in making the balance payment of Rs.24,25,000/- under e-auction conducted by the fifth respondent.

Heard Mr.A.Arokhiaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Parameshwaran, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions would submit that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, fifth respondent has granted extension of time to the petitioner to make balance payment of Rs.24,25,000/-, on 16/10/2020. Since the extension of time has been granted, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no necessity for this Court to pass any further orders.
