Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to consider and take appropriate action on the petitioners representations dated 07/03/2010 18/08/2011 21/02/2012 03/04/2014 and 09/03/2015 thereby direct them to give one opportunity to the petitioner on compassionate ground for completing the petitioners course of B.A LL.B at the 4th respondent college by extending course completion period. For Petitioner : Mr.Prakash Adiapadam.

By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims that he is a student of 4th respondent college viz., Dr. Ambedkar Law College, Puducherry and pursued LLB - 5 years integrated course during the period 2000 to
2005 and his Roll Number is 216115 and though he completed the course in the year 2005, he could not pass the examination as he got arrears in some theory papers. The petitioner would state that he has also suffered a personal tragedy in the form of his close family members, father, mother and sister, who passed away in an accident and consequently, could not concentrate in studies and also he was with his grandmother, who also passed away at the time of preparing for examinations. The petitioner has submitted several representations on various dates viz., 07.03.2010, 18.08.2011, 21.02.2012 and 03.04.2014 to the respondents 1 to 4, praying them to give one more opportunity to him to complete the LLB course and since, he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.Prakash Adiapadam, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Balamurugane, learned standing counsel, who accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 3.
4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation dated 03.04.2015, submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after granting an opportunity of personal hearing and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible and not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
