ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents to cancel the Patta based on the representation dated 06.08.2018 made by the petitioner and to decide the same in accordance with law within a reasonable time.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, earlier an assignment was granted in favour of his father-in-law. Subsequently, the assignment said to be canceled by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
authority. Thereafter, the petitioner has made an application on 06.08.2018 seeking for Patta before the 1st respondent District Collector and based on the application, the second respondent Revenue Divisional Officer, also conducted enquiry on 07.08.2019. The petitioner has also appeared and submitted required documents. But, so far, his application was not considered and no order has been passed on it. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.
3. Considering the fact that already the enquiry has been commenced in the year 2019 itself, the 1st respondent District Collector, is directed to consider the petitioner's application and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
