ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents more particularly the 2 nd respondent to process the petitioner's Patta through online on 03.01.2024 vide Application No. 2024/0154/02/000072 and grant the Sub-Division Patta Transfer in the name of the petitioner in respect of all that piece and parcel of vacant land comprised in survey No.173/5 Anna Street, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai600043, ad-measuring 19872 sq.ft., situated within the registration district of Chennai south and Joint I Sub Registration District of Saidapet.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application vide Application No. 2024/0154/02/000072 dated 03.01.2024 within the time as may be fixed by this Court. 2/5

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and since this writ petition is filed seeking a simple writ of mandamus to consider the petitioner's application, this Court without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 03.01.2024 and issue notice to the petitioner and to the interested parties/rival claimants/objectors/aggrieved parties if any, as the case may be and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within the time as prescribed in the circular No.R1/2005632/2022 dated 17.07.2023 issued by the Commissioner of Land Administration, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
