A.No.1315 of 2021 in C.S.No.256 of 2016 R.PONGIAPPAN, J., This application has been filed to condone the delay of 1680 days in filing the written statement of the first defendant in C.S.No.256 of 2016.

2. The learned counsel for the respondents did not raise any serious objection. Though, the delay required to be condoned is 1680 days, both the counsel appearing on either side conceded for allowing this application, on costs.

3. Accordingly, this application is allowed, subject to the condition that the applicant shall pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] as costs, to "Cancer Institute WIA, No.18/36, Sardar Patel Road, IIT Post, Adyar, Chennai", on or before 09.04.2021.
