O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for cancellation of patta
standing in the name of the private respondents and also take action against the erring officials, namely the respondents 3 to 5, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is not pressing to take action against the official respondents, namely the respondents 3 to 5, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.12.2025. She would submit that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 29.12.2025, seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the private respondents, namely the respondents 6 to 9, for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame.
3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. Since no adverse orders are passed as against the respondents 6 to 9, notice to the respondents 6 to 9 is dispensed with by this Court.
4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 29.12.2025, seeking for the cancellation
of patta standing in the name of the respondents 6 to 9, for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 6 to 9 and by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a time frame fixed by this Court. 5.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation/application dated 29.12.2025, seeking for the cancellation of patta standing in the name of the respondents 6 to 9, for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 6 to 9 and by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
