ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 1.12.2015 in Crl.O.P. No.27189 of 2015, directed the respondent herein to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and upon enquiry, if materials were gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he was directed to proceed further in accordance with law. he was directed to pass appropriate orders on the complaint made by the petitioner. Alleging that the said order has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor by filing counter affidavit, submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a detailed enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on 8.1.2016.

3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition and the contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the closure report, he is at liberty to work out his remedy in a manner know to law, if he is so advised.
