Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had passed away on 06.01.2016.

2. The learned Government Advocate also admits that the petitioner is no more.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, there is no question of reinstatement of the petitioner in service as prayed for in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as abated. No costs.
