ORDER
The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.02.2026 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(C), 4(1)(A), 4(1-A)(ii) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2024 r/w 123 of 1/3
BNS, 2023 in Crime No.56 of 2026, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, it is seen that a bail had already been filed before the Sessions Court for A1 / Chinnamani, whereas the present bail petition has been filed for two petitioners, namely A1 / Chinnamani and A3 / Sridhar. When the same was questioned, the petitioner has rendered an apology.
3. Considering such practice, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 20.02.2026 drl To
