Respondent(s) PRAYER: This criminal original petition has been filed under Section 483(1)(b) of BNSS Act 2023 to relax the bail condition imposed on the petitioner vide order dated 20.01.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.269 of 2025 passed by the Principal District and Sessions Court, Villupuram District directing the petitioner to appear and sign before the Respondent Police Station daily at 10:00 A.M. for a period of 30 days (including holidays) from the next day of execution of bond before the trial Court.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to relax the bail condition imposed on the petitioner vide order dated 20.01.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.269 of 2025 passed by the Principal District and Sessions Court, Villupuram District directing the petitioner to appear and sign before the Respondent Police Station daily at 10:00 A.M. for a period of 30 days (including holidays) from the next day of execution of bond before the trial Court. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was granted bail in Crl.M.P.No.269 of 2025 dated 20.01.2025 in connection with Crime No.02 of 2025; that while granting bail, the learned Principal Sessions Judge (I/c), Villupuram imposed the condition that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent police station daily at 10:00 a.m., for a period of 30 days; that the petitioner has been complying with the aforesaid condition regularly from 26.01.2025; and that the petitioner is ready to co-operate for the investigation, hence he prayed to relax the aforesaid condition imposed on the petitioner.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 2/4

respondent police confirms the fact that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly; and that the investigation is pending. 4.

Considering the submissions of both sides and the nature of offence, the condition imposed on the petitioner to appear before the respondent police station daily at 10:00 a.m., in Crl.O.P.No.269 of 2025 dated 20.01.2025, is modifed to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police station on every Monday at 10:30 a.m., until further orders. 5.

Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered. 28.02.2025 stn To The Inspector of Police, Villupuram Taluk Police Station, Villupuram District.
