Heard Mr. S.Karthikei Balan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioners and Mr. B.Vijay, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

Having regard to the nature of order proposed to be passed in the Writ Petition, which would not cause any prejudice to the Third to Thirty Ninth Respondents, notice to them is dispensed with. 3.
The Petitioners have challenged the Proceedings No.6168/D2/2023 dated 22.02.2023 passed by the Second Respondent with a consequential direction to prepare a fresh panel to the post of Superintendent after re-fixing the combined inter-se seniority list of the Petitioners as per G.O. Ms. No. 126, Higher Education (C2) Department dated 08.07.2022.

In response, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents, on instructions, states that the objections have been received from the Petitioners on 01.03.2023, 03.03.2023 and 08.03.2023, which would be duly examined in accordance with law within a period of one week from today and no order for promotion to the post of Superintendent will be made till the same is communicated to the Petitioners in this case. 5.
It shall be incumbent upon the concerned authority to carryout the said undertaking made before this Court.
In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs. 10.03.2023 kan Index: Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 21.08.2023.
