[R2 impleaded Vide order dated 02.04.2019 made in WMP.No.9231/2019 in WP.No.6116/2019] Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.09.2018 to cancel the settlement deed registered in document No.9495/2009 which was executed by the petitioner on 29.10.2009 before the Sub-Registrar, Vellore. ORDER

The petitioner has moved the first respondent with her representation dated 25.09.2018 seeking cancellation of settlement deed executed by her before the Sub Registrar, Vellore on 29.10.2009.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent. The learned Special Government Pleader makes a statement on instructions that the enquiry for the purpose is scheduled to take place at 11.00 a.m., on 05.03.2021 in the office of the first respondent. 3. Inasmuch as the date for enquiry is fixed, no direction is required to be given, except that the first respondent / District Collector, Vellore is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of service of order copy, subject to such time that may be lost in responsibilities connected with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021.
