(Respondents 3 to 12 impleaded vide order dated 29.04.2015 by DHPJ in M.P.No.1/2015) Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation/appeal dated 19.09.2014 which made against the illegal promotion order issued by the Madurai Corporation Commissioner in Ma Ni 1/004724/2014 dated 04.03.2014 and pass orders on the same as per Rule 26 of the Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporation Service Rules 1996.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider the appeal dated 19.09.2014, questioning the alleged illegal promotion given to the impleaded respondents 3 to 12 by the Commissioner, Corporation of Madurai, vide proceedings dated 04.03.2014

2. In view of the narrow prayer made, without going into the merits of the appeal dated 19.09.2014, the first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 19.09.2014 after hearing the petitioner, respondents 3 to 12 and the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
