This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 18.02.2024 and to give police protection to conduct the Masi festival from 08.03.2024 to 11.03.2024 in Angalamman and Periyanayagi Amman Temple at Korakkavadi Village, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the representation made by the petitioner will be considered and necessary action will be taken by the 2nd respondent. 3.In the light of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to act upon the representation and ensure that the festival is conducted in a peaceful manner without giving rise to any law and order problem.
