Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 to consider the petitioner representation dated 15.01.2012 and take departmental disciplinary proceedings against the eighth respondent.

O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 to consider his representation dated 15.01.2012 and take departmental/ disciplinary proceedings against the eighth respondent.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 7 submitted that since the eighth respondent had already retired from service, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. Agreeing with the aforesaid submission, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed that this writ petition may be closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Authorities concerned, to work out his remedy.

4. Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
