[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to the detention order passed in Memo No.1191/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 29.11.2016 by the Detaining Authority against the detenue by name, Karthi, aged 24 years, S/o.Palani, residing at No.1950, 4th Street, Mayilaibalaji Nagar, Velachery, Chennai-42 and quash the same.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the Detention Order in question has been already quashed by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.274 dated 20.01.2017 and a copy of the same has been submitted for perusal. Wherein, it has been clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has already been quashed.

3. Considering the above said factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
