O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 16.12.2019 to issue patta in favour of the petitioners.

The case of the petitioners is that they have jointly purchased a property through two registered sale deeds dated 06.11.2003 and 21.01.2004 respectively.

The petitioners thereafter had applied for patta before the second respondent on 19.12.2019. They had even sent a reminder. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate direction.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.

Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the application made by the petitioners on 19.12.2019 to conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If, the second respondent feels that notice must be issued for any interested parties, the same shall be done and they shall also be heard. The petitioners are directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with a copy of the application made on 19.12.2019 and a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
