Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the Commissioner of Agriculture Chepauk, Chennai - 600 005, the respondent made in Reference No. DCS2(5)/298/2024 dated 04.01.2024, quash the same and direct the respondent that the petitioner is deemed to have been reinstated into service as Assistant Director of Agriculture, Peranamallur or any other nearby place with effect from the date of passing of the order in the above Writ Petition and that the petitioner is entitled to get his due salary from the date of suspension with all consequential service and monetary benefits within a short date that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

It is represented that the order of suspension which is questioned and challenged in the Writ Petition has now been revoked by the respondent by an order dated 26.03.2024 in DCS 2(5)/298/2024. Therefore, the issue raised in this Writ Petition need not be adjudicated. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
