The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294[b], 323 of IPC r/w Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act in Crime No.416 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on account of wordy quarrel, these petitioners had abused the de facto complainant with filthy language and also assaulted him with hands.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent submitted that no one sustained injury and there is a case in counter and there is no previous case as against these petitioners. 5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that no one sustained injury and there is no previous case as against these petitioners, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions.

sri 6.Accordingly, it is ordered that the petitioners shall be released on bail, in the event of arrest or on their surrender before the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Vanur, Villupuram District, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the following conditions:- (i) Each petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the arresting Officer or to the satisfaction of the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Vanur, Villupuram District; and on further condition that (ii) The petitioners shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

(iii) If the petitioners fail to comply with any one of the above conditions imposed by this Court, the anticipatory bail granted shall stand automatically dismissed without any further reference to this Court. 23.06.2016 sri Crl.O.P.No.12993 of 2016
