Against this petition, a Caveat and supporting affidavit was filed on 7th day of October 2021 by the Caveator. As per the Order of the learned Master, dated 21.02.2022 in O.P.No.538 of 2021, the Original Petition has to be converted into Testamentary Original Suit.

When the matter was taken up today, the learned counsel appearing on either side has submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties before the Mediation Centre and they have entered into a compromise. Pursuant to the same, they have filed a Settlement Agreement dated 28.02.2024 which has been duly signed by both the parties and their respective counsel.
2.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and recording the Settlement Agreement, the suit is decreed in terms of Settlement Agreement dated 28.02.2024 and the said Settlement Agreement shall form part of the decree. Letters of Administration is granted in favour of the plaintiff. The plaintiff shall execute a security bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) in favour of the Assistant Registrar (O.S.II), High Court, Madras. The Court Fee is ordered to be refunded as per Law. No costs.
