The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking cancellation of the bail granted to the second respondent in Crl.O.P.No.109 of 2026, by order dated 07.01.2026 passed by this Court.

2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner when the matter is called today.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. On a perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it is seen that the petitioner has alleged that the second respondent had extended a death threat to her. However, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent would submit that the second respondent is none other than the father-in-law of the petitioner and is a senior citizen aged about 72 years. Further, on a perusal of the materials available on record, this Court is unable to find any material to substantiate the allegation of death threat. Except for a reference to an online complaint dated 10.03.2026, no other material has been placed before this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the said complaint was subsequently closed in R.C.S.No.21 of 2026. Therefore, it is evident that no complaint is presently pending against the second respondent. In such circumstances, this Court does not find any ground to interfere with the bail already granted by this Court.
