O R D E R
The prayer sought in this contempt petition is to punish the respondents for having committed wilful disobedience of the order dated 28.07.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.12502 of 2020.
2. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.12502 of 2020 dated 28.07.2023 has been complied by the respondents and he has also produced a compliance report vide G.O.No.249, Revenue and Disaster Management Page No.2 of 5
Department, dated 16.07.2024 to that effect and the copy of the same was also duly served to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also acknowledged that he has received the copy of the G.O.No.249, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, dated 16.07.2024.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the order passed by the respondents, this Court directs the fifth respondent/Accountant General (A&E) to sanction the pension to the petitioner as per the aforesaid G.O.No.249, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, dated 16.07.2024, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
