Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records of the second respondent in his proceedings Charge Memo No.52896/A2/2014 dated 11.12.2014 so as to quash the same and further direct the second respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Sub-Registrar as per the directions issued in W.P.No.25203 of 2014 dated 16.09.2014. O R D E R
The petitioner challenges the charge memo dated 11.12.2014, whereby and where under, the second respondent initiated disciplinary proceedings against him.
2. When the writ petition came up for hearing on 29.01.2015, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the respondents to conclude the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
3. In view of the said submission, the learned Additional Government Pleader was directed to take instructions as to the time required for disposal of disciplinary proceedings. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the respondents would require six months' time to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner.
5. The respondents are directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner pursuant to the charge memo dated 11.12.2014 as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
