W.M.P.No.8532 of 2018 in W.P.No.6889 of 2018 M.SUNDAR, J., and HEMANT CHANDANGOUDAR, J., ., (Order of the Court was made by M.SUNDAR, J.,) This order will now dispose of the captioned 'Writ Miscellaneous Petition' [hereinafter 'WMP' for the sake of brevity].

2. Captioned WMP has been filed with prayer to dispense with production of 'original Notification bearing No.GSR 609(E) dated 22.08.2014' [hereinafter 'impugned notification' for the sake of brevity, convenience and clarity].

3. Ms.V.Revathy, learned counsel on record for writ petitioners, is before this Court.

4. Learned counsel for writ petitioners submits that the impugned notification is a public document which was downloaded from the official website and hence, the writ petitioner is not able to file the original impugned notification. However, a photocopy of the impugned notification was filed along with the typed set of papers. Learned counsel drew the attention of this Court to relevant part of support affidavit, which reads as follows:

M.SUNDAR, J., and HEMANT CHANDANGOUDAR, J., mk ''It is submitted that the Gazette Notification bearing No.GSR 609(E) dated 22.08.2014 is issued by the 1st respondent implementing the provisions of Employee's Pension (Amendment) scheme, 2014. Gazette notification was downloaded from the official website of the Employees Provident Fund Organization. So also the impugned notification is a public document published in the extraordinary gazette of the 1st respondent. Under the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, downloaded and printed Gazette copies are sufficient for all official and legal purposes. The non-filing of the original notification is nether willful nor deliberate but for the reasons stated above.................'
