ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 17.11.2015 in Crl.O.P. No.26484 of 2015, directed the respondent police to conduct an enquiry and upon enquiry, if materials are https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence,

then he was directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible. Alleging that the said order has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a detailed enquiry was conducted and the same was closed as civil in nature. He has also produced the closure report.

3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition and hence, the contempt petition is closed.
