O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to bring/change the village and circle accounts to the petitioner house site situated in Grama Natham Patta in Block No.27/36, Survey No.27/1D, Navalai Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District based on recommendation made by the 4th respondent dated 13.09.2022.

To get patta in the natham land at Survey No.27/1D situated at Navalai Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District, the petitioner approached this Court and got an order in W.P.No.19873 of 2019 dated 30.11.2021, pursuant to which, the 3rd respondent Tahsildar vide his proceedings dated 29.09.2022 directed the 5th respondent to inspect the property and measure the same thereafter send a report for the purpose of issuing patta to the petitioner.

3. Despite the said communication was issued by the 3rd respondent, the 5th respondent has not acted upon so far, therefore the petitioner is before this Court in this writ petition.

4. Heard Mr.P.Ganesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that based on the earlier order passed by this Court, the action initiated by the 3rd respondent would be completed and needful would be undertaken within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court is inclined to give a direction to the 3rd and 5th respondents to act upon immediately on the initiation of the proceedings dated 29.09.2022 by the 3rd respondent, of course pursuant to the earlier order passed by this Court with regard to the plea of the petitioner for issuance of patta to the natham land as referred to 3/5

above and this needful shall be undertaken by the 3rd and 5th respondents within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
