O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to consider his application dated 02.08.2018 for issuance of Trade Licence.

2. According to the petitioner, he is engaged in manufacturing of aluminium and allied products. He has made an application before the second respondent on 02.08.2018 for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

issuance of Trade Licence, but, so far, no order has been passed. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.K.Elangovan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.C.Selvasekaran, Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending from 02.08.2018, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass suitable orders on merits, in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
