By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claims that he is the Managing Member of Sri Devi Karumariamman Thirukovil at Ambattur and the festival viz. "Chithirai Muzhu Nilavu" will be conducted during the month of May, and the petitioner has already printed a pamphlet in this regard and submitted an application dated 22.4.2015, to the respondents, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
praying for appropriate permission to conduct the same and though it was acknowledged, no response is forthcoming and hence, he came forward to file this writ petition.
3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that for the past 13 years, the festival was conducted during the month of May and further, assures that there will not be any law and order problem, or no vulgarity or obscenity would be there during the conduct of festival, and hence, prays for appropriate orders.
4.The Court heard the submission of Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice for the respondents, also.
5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without going into the merits of the application, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application/representation dated 22.4.2015, in accordance with law, and pass orders on or before 29.4.2015, and communicate the decision to the petitioner forthwith. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
