The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Government of Tamil Nadu, vide Publication No.518 dated 29.07.2021 has conveyed the decision of the Government with respect to withdrawing of the five defamation suits against the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader also concurs with the submission of the petitioner and the authenticity of the Publication issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

3. Taking the Publication No.518 dated 29.07.2021 on record, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS VIII) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar TK To 1.
