O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondent police to register FIR against Viji and his associates and to arrest them under Sections 294 (b), 323, 342 and 506(i) IPC.

2. Heard Dr.N.Thirumalai, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending before the respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
