By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner submitted a detailed representation dated 6.4.2015, to the respondents stating among other things, that she is the owner of the land admeasuring to an extent of 22 1⁄2 cents in Survey No.323/55-1A2, Nallur Village, No.54, Ponneri Taluk, Chengai Anna District, and it was purchased by her vide registered

sale deed dated 27.3.1991, in Document No.1739/1991 - Office of the Sub-Registrar, Ponneri, and she applied for patta by sub-division by means of an application dated 12.8.2010, and vide proceedings of the Village Administrative Officer dated 1.3.2011, the fourth respondent was informed that a detailed enquiry was required for the issuance of patta. The petitioner, in this regard, submitted a reminder dated 23.2.2012, and on 14.3.2012, the third respondent has directed the fourth respondent to conduct an enquiry. 3.The grievance expressed by the petitioner, is that in spite of long lapse of time, no orders have been passed and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

4.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice for the respondents 1 to 4. 5.This Court, without entering upon the merits of the representation, directs the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 6.4.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned, and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
