Prayer : This writ petition is preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant police protection to the petitioners and the concerned revenue officials for proper and peaceful implementation of the order dated 03.12.2025 passed by the Hon'ble Madras High Court and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

ORDER
The present petition has been filed by the petitioner herein seeking for police protection to implement the order passed by this court in W.P. No.47338 of 2025 dated 03.12.2025.
2.It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that this court has given a specific direction to the respondents therein, namely the District Collector, Ranipet District, Taluk Head Surveyor, Nemili Taluk and the Tahsildar, Nemili Taluk to survey the land pertaining to patta no.438 belonging to Vadapura Sengunthar Samudayam Panapakkam and it was further directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners and also to any other party and after receiving objections if any, to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property in question within a period of 12 weeks. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor who takes notice for respondents 1 and 2 has submitted that the petitioner to appear before the second respondent along with supporting documents to confirm the right over the property claimed by the petitioner and thereafter, an enquiry can be conducted, the objections from adjacent land owners and other connected parties if any to be considered and thereafter, the surveyor can survey the land and fix the boundaries and necessary police protection will be provided. The entire exercise can be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner before the fourth respondent. 4.In view of the above, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. In view of the disposal of the main writ petition, no order needs to be passed in WPMP No.284 of 2026 which has been filed seeking to fix an early date of hearing of the main writ petition and hence, the same is closed. 20-04-2026 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes vvk 3/5
