Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner representations dated 21.01.2025 and 19.02.2025, consequently directing the 1st respondent to allot the flat situated in Dr.Ambedkar Nagar, Manali new town, Chennai - 600 103.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2025 and 19.02.2025.

2. When the matter came up for admission, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent - Board would submit that as on date, the petitioner is neither an allottee nor any application for allotment is pending with them.

3. If the petitioner has got any grievance with reference to the individual respondents No.3 and 4, he has to only approach the Civil Court for appropriate remedies and for that issue, the Tamil Nadu Urban Housing and Habitat Development Board cannot conduct any enquiry based on the representations. The 1st respondent Board is concerned only with allotments of its tenements, plots and proper use thereto alone. Individual disputes if any between the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 cannot be taken up to them. Giving such

liberty to the petitioner, to approach the Civil Court as against the private respondents, the prayer in the Writ Petition cannot be countenanced and the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
