Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records of the 2nd respondent herein in passing of the order dt 25.10.2013 in M/C.580/RTSA/13 on the subject of Renewal of License and quash the same and thereby direct the 2nd respondent to renew the license of the petitioner as RTSA as per the rules in force.

ORDER
This writ petition is heard through Video-Conferencing, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
2. The writ petition is filed challenging the order dated 25.10.2013 refusing to renew the license of the petitioner as Rail Travel Service Agent (in short, RTSA) as per the rules in force.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. The learned counsel, who appears for the respondents, would submit that the service of the RTSA is not in force and the same has been withdrawn. However, now the said service is named as YTSK - Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra).
5. In view of the above, the challenge to the order of rejection order cannot be considered. However, it is open to the petitioner to apply for the YTSA, if he is otherwise qualified. On such application, the second respondent-Senior Divisional Commercial Manager shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
