When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1st respondent, on instructions, submitted that though the petitioner has come up with this criminal original petition seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.499 of 2025, on the file of the 1st respondent, the investigation in this case has already been completed and the final report has been filed before the learned 18th Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, by way of e-filing bearing No.20230002474C202600006 on 24.02.2026.

2. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this criminal original petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said final report and work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if so advised. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
