O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.149/SDOB/Kfhk;/17, dated 16.11.2017 on the file of the third respondent and accordingly, direct the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner's association to hold a meeting on 07.12.2017 as per representation of the petitioner's association dated 23.11.2017.

2. Heard Mr. D. Akshay Ani Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the Mr. S. Babu, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Learned Government Advocate, on instructions from the third respondent, submitted that the petitioner's request to conduct meeting will be considered by them favourably, if they are permitted to impose reasonable restrictions. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's association intend to have the meeting on 07.12.2017 at 4.30 p.m. in Old Collectorate Office, Cuddalore, since the participants are teachers belonging to the association.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate as well as the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands allowed. Accordingly, the earlier order of rejection in Na.Ka.No. 149/SDOB/Kfhk;/17, dated 16.11.2017 on the file of the third respondent is set aside. 6.Consequently, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the third respondent with a representation, seeking permission to conduct meeting on 07.12.2017 and on receipt of such representation, the third respondent shall consider on the same day favourably and permit the petitioner's association to conduct meeting at Old Collectorate Office, Cuddalore at 4.30 p.m.

7. It is needless to say that it is always open to the third respondent to impose reasonable restrictions to regulate the meeting.
