Respondent(s) PRAYER Directing the respondents to consider and dispose the representation made by the petitioner on 01.09.2025 requesting the respondents to issue patta for the total extent of the land situated at Melpakkam village,Poonamallee Taluk, Trivallur District Comprised in Old Survey No.87/2 and New Survey No.87/3 for an extent of 11 cents (4.5 ares) as per the petitioners title deed dated 22.01.1979 in document No. 234/79, instead of existing extent of 9 cents (3.5 acres ) mentioned in the current patta, in Patta No.44 within a time frame and pass.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the

petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, as per the sale deed, standing in the name of the petitioner, the petitioner is entitled for eleven cents of land. But in the existing patta bearing No.44, the extent of the land is disclosed as nine cents erroneously. The petitioner had applied for patta in his name for the total extent of eleven cents, by giving representation to the respondents on 01.09.2025. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of necessary parties, whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the

petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025, seeking for issuance of patta in his name for the total extent of land measuring eleven cents of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of necessary parties, whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire
