O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by petitioner seeking a direction to respondents to produce the detenue viz., Logeshwari W/o.Palanisamy, aged about 22 years before this Court and to set her at liberty.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 to 3.

3. This Court, under orders dated 10.11.2017, directed respondents 1 to 3 to enquire into the matter and register a case, if an offence is committed. Today, when the matter is taken up, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the documents sent to the concerned department are found to be forged and hence, a case in Crime No.1 of 2018 was registered for offences u/s.468, 471 and 474 IPC against the petitioner. In view of the aforestated position, respondents 1 to 3 are directed to proceed with investigation and file a final report in the case.

The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above direction.
