ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police herein to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 05.06.2016 and investigate the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's minor son, Israel Zinzendorf, had run away with one elderly lady Asha and on the complaint given by the petitioner, initially, a case in Crime No.294 of 2016 as "boy missing " was registered. Thereafter, the petitioner's son was secured and the section of offence was altered into Section 417 IPC and 6 & 8 of POCSO Act. The petitioner filed a petition before this Court in HCP No.819 of 2016, in which, the boy was produced before this Court, but, the boy wanted to go with the said Asha. Since he was a minor, he was lodged in a Home. Now, he has attained majority and yearns to join with Asha. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to proceed with the investigation and give sufficient protection to the petitioner.

With the above direction, the criminal original petition is closed.
